My recent project was produce to 3D CAD parts, assemblies & details in SolidWorks from 2D (AutoCAD) drawings and motion simulation/animation for TOTALL Attachments Equipment Corp. The Forklift/Clamp truck driver position is directly responsible for the safe. Forklift clamps allow you to handle large, non-palletized loads that may otherwise be tricky to manoeuvre. Totall Attachments had legacy data which dates decades back, from hand drawn & approved engineering drawings / sketches to 2D AutoCAD drawings. In this instance, a clamp could be the right forklift attachment for you. In CAE & FEA I have worked on ANSYS and with SolidWorks, CATIA simulation & analysis packages. Anyway, so on a clamp truck your hydraulic controls operate the squeeze of your clamps. You may be in a situation where you need to handle loads that aren’t on a pallet. With a higher but more compact counterweight, the Box Car Special design does not sacrifice.
